Our M22 tweeter is a smaller version of our M25 tweeter with all of the performance characteristics of the M25. The new M22 tweeter is a smaller completely custom tooled and re-engineered tweeter to give you an easier, seamless, installation while gaining versatility in bandwidth. We started by looking at what we personally wanted out of a tweeter from an installation standpoint. That meant a smaller tweeter that was extremely easy to install including a shallower mounting depth, a nice-looking protective grille, and overall smaller footprint.
When we reduced the mounting depth to less than 18 mm we also increased its ability to play low by engineering a rear tuned chamber to lower the Fs to 850 Hz. Performing the latter allows an easier transition to other loudspeakers in your system. The M22 is very lightweight so we chose to use a friction fit. The custom tooling extends to the integrated grille with our logo laser-etched in the center. The grille pattern and open surface area have been carefully engineered to allow the sound of the dome to flow through the grille uninhibited.
The M22’s dome and surround are made of natural silk for natural smooth sound. Driving the silk dome is a solid copper voice coil wound on a Kapton voice coil former. Providing positive and negative diaphragm movement is a single slug of Neodynium inside the voice coil ID.
Lastly, we positioned direct leads off the rear of the tweeter. The result is a super compact, very versatile, 22 mm dome tweeter that is at home in any high-fidelity environment.
Recommended highpass crossover point is at least 2,800 Hz with a 24 dB/octave slope or higher.

These new tweets have quickly become my all time favorite tweet. They are smaller than the m25 and fit perfectly into my tundra jbl stock pillar locations. The M25 was to big but these are perfect. Another benefit is the smaller tweeter is better off axis than the larger tweet so aiming them is not as necessary. I have had several pairs of the M25 in different vehicles but the size made it necessary to do a lot of modification but these M22 fit perfectly with no modification.
I have finally found a tweet that is like the NHT tweets from the late 80s and early 90’s. Also, they required very little eq to sound awesome. You will not be dissappointed with these and they perform as well as tweets costing may times the price. Another great value and performer from Nick.
