Our M3 Carbon 3.5″ loudspeaker is a no-compromise wideband solution for use in any high-end audio system. Many months were spent on the development of this unique 3.5″ driver where we started with various motor platforms (multiple-gap, single gap, etc), surround geometries, cone materials, etc, all while using Finite Element Modeling along with data from Klippel USA to fine-tune the driver into what you see before you. The M3 Carbon has a Carbon Fiber cone and dust cap for lightweight moving mass to keep sensitivity as high as possible while providing excellent cone stiffness. The Carbon Fiber cone is mated to a specific custom tooled synthetic copolymer surround which aids in smoother midrange and excellent durability. Inside the motor cup lies a high-strength shielded neodymium cup motor structure providing high motor force across a single gap motor structure. Inductance is kept low to increase the high-frequency extension up to 20,000 Hz which can negate the need for a tweeter when used on-axis.
While we call the M3 Carbon our midrange it is actually a wideband loudspeaker capable of playing from 125 Hz up to 20,000 Hz. We recommend a highpass crossover point equal to or greater than 500 Hz with a 24 dB/octave slope.

Can’t wait to try these out. These are gonna sell – everyone wants to put 3.5’s in their dash these days.
My only issue: can we get a frequency response graph please?

There is a frequency response. Simply click on the image.

I picked up a set of the M3 carbon midrange to replace my Morel CDM-880’s in my active 3-way front stage. I am very impressed with these speakers. They sound simply amazing. Im running them 300hz- 4200hz currently and couldn’t be happier. Worth every penny.

These are an incredible value! Very clear and excellent midrange that blends super well with the midbass. It plays loudly with ease and benefits from some headroom. You can’t go wrong with these m3’s!

Recently installed a set of M25MKII, M3 and TM8’s in the front doors of my 2020 911 C4S, and a M3 in the center dash. Along with sound deadening in the doors as step 1. The TM8s in particular made the biggest improvement. After installing a Match Up10 and doing a proper 1 seat tune, the system sounds incredible. FYI the M3’s and M25MKII’s are both a tight fit for the 911 992 model, but workable.

These are by far the speakers that have made the most improvement to my soundstage. They are installed in the factory dash corner locations in my 2011 Toyota Venza. I had to buy a second pair to install in my girl’s 2016 Dodge Challenger. Powered by 75w from JL Audio amps. I feel like I’m winning.
