well i got a clarion hu (VRXV785BT - i want to get rid of it and buy a DRZ9255+car pc)
i have an hifonics aphrodite amp with a 3-way cross thats bi-amping a set of dynaudio 240 as the front speakers and a set od diamond audio 661s as rear fill. other than that i'll be powering the mag with the arc XXK2500. that's it for now (no deadeners here) my plan is to go all the way and to build a 3-way front stage - i will be needing a dynaudio mids.. |

altimitly i do also want to get a 3way front stage also, but if i do get it i will be geting a DLS IRIDIUM 6.3 or something along those lines and i wil be getting possible another amp also. but first i am going to need money lol!
question you are bi-amping your front stage? so your rear stage is running off of your deck then? and this is your amp then? Hifonics Aphrodite X SE it looks good! o my head unit is a pioneer premiur DEH-P800PRS http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...er/DEH-P800PRS and i do want to change it to something alpine! lol! |

my Hifonics amp is a brand-new HIFONICS APHRODITE VIII - it has 6X50watt with a 3 way crossover - but i'm using twa channels for the rear and 4 channels to bi-amp the fronts.
i havn't heard the iridium, but i strongly recommend that you hear the dynaudio 360 as a3 way components.. fo you have any distributurs of PHASS AUDIO ? |

the amp does a very good job as far as powering tweeters and mids but i don't like the way it powers the midbass (not enough power there)
thanks for the phass tip.. i tought that there will be alot of reviews for the new mag by now, whats up with that ? |

well i don't know why ppl are posting there reviews on this site but i guess maybe they wnat to play them for a little while to allow the sub to break in more. b/c you rule of them give it time to break in and you will be much more happier iwth it llol! (that is my rule of thumb lol)

o they also may not be giving reviews yet b/c it turns out the cut out needs to be bigger maybe!
Is 11 1/6 inch cutout too big for new mag? lol just my luck get it all done and relise it is to small! story of some ppl life eh! to small! lol! o well better then being 2 big i guess b/c if it was to big you would have to start over i guess lol! |

I'm getting a solid measurement today. The technical drawing is correct for the basket if you have the edges shaved (like most of the baskets), but we didn't shave our edges so the spokes stick over the edge a little bit.
