Default my sq setup

My goal with this system is not competition or a fancy looking install. I wanted a sound quality install that would sound as good as most competitors.
I don`t currently have any si products but that will change when the new bm`s are released for sale. This is a work in progress as far as the sub-stage and amp rack goes. The front stage is complete and is in break in stages. I have tuned as far as crossover points and rough time delay. The only eqing that has been done is to tame some obvious peaks in the midrange area. Once the amp rack and substage is complete I will take some time with a pc based measuring system and tune it flat then tweak to my tastes from there. I will add some pics in a few days. Don`t flame me to bad guys I am 43 years old and need something to do beside work and mow the lawn. If my wife ever finds out what this has cost so far I may be single. The deck and processor were purchased used. The midbasses I considered used since I bought them from Scott Buwalda (Hybrid Audio) who never used them. Everything else was purchased new.

Impressive system you've got there...glad you are an old fart too. I get out-numbered occasionaly by these young snot nosed, know-it-all whippersnappers.

I think you will hear a big improvement over the Daytons

Thanks guys. I like to turn it up to and want to keep it clean while doing it. I am not out to win spl contests or sq contests. I would like to compete one day though. I am glad i found this place the maturity level seems quite a bit higher here than diyma. I don`t have a show quality install and don`t posess the skills or patience to make it happen. I just want my stuff out of sight but yet still maintainable.

AMEN!! Jacob (from Sundown Audio) and I were talking about something similar about a month ago. We're both done with kick pannels. We've grown to absolutely love a stock-looking stereo but have it sound phenomenal. It's easier on me when I leave my car in a parking lot because it doesn't attract theives - it looks like a normal car.

Anyway, nice system!

Yeah the kicks are not actually stealth are they, lol. Anyway nothing is visible from the outside of my truck anyway(5%tint on the fronts and 5% tint on top of factory tint everywhere else). The interior is practically invisible. Yeah I know it is dangerous but you learn how to drive it at night safely. Anyway hurry up with the BM`s.

Your car was just featured in the news as the most stolen model car for the past year...huge parts market for them
