Default Optimized box

hi, I should have 2 mag v4 soon and I want to start building my box they should have 870 from a DLS A3 @ 2ohm. I want to have it sealed I will use 1" mdf probably unless you want me to use thicker ? What size should be optimized for 2x mag v4 with how much pollyfil, should I create an angle at the back or the front of the box... I want to know how to create the best box for it !!

thank you in advance

I would say common chamber @ 2.6cuft would be a great start (no need polyfill).
I would add some bracings and make a front double baffle. --> how I did mine

Maybe Nick will say otherwise.

What type of car is it going to? Trunk or hatchback?

You can go up to 1.3 ft^3 each if you want to, but if you're limited on space I would stay right at 1 ft^3 each. The larger box will give you increased efficiency, so if you can go with 1.2 to 1.3 ft^3 each I would do it.

It will go into my corolla 2003.. I got plenty of space in it... so what size should I really go then ? do I need a specific depth ? has for double bracing what is this ? should I go with a wedge type box or normal rectangular ?

If you have ~900 watts going to the pair, I would go with 1.2 ft^2 per driver. If you're building a single box (a wedge shape will help it keep from falling over) you'll probably want to add a few braces on the big parallel sides. And make sure you seal it up with silicone and let it dry for 24 hours before putting the subs in. I also highly recommend lining the interior walls of the enclosure with fiberglass insulation to help dampen resonances and provide you with a smoother bass response.

I wouldn't do double baffle with 1" thick MDF. That's a bit over-kill. I would brace the enclosure and then line the walls with fiberglass insulation. There's no need to use polyfill if you're box is going to be 1.2 ft^3 per driver with the fiberglass in there.
