Default Box size difference

I have a first gen Claw Mag In a box that is roughly 1.3 ft³ @ 32hz with 9 in² of port area. How much of a difference would there be if i put it in a box that's 2 ft³ @ 32hz with 26 in² of port area?

Also anywhere I look Claw Mags are D2 voice coils and mine are D4 voice coils. Were there ever D4 Mags or was mine a re-cone that someone wanted D4 coils instead?

I'm not really understanding the D2 and D4 thing. Is your driver a dual 4 Ohm? If so, it has been re-coned, and was not performed by us. Are you sure they are dual 4 Ohm (tested with a volt meter)? Does it have our logo on the dust cap?

Increasing the enclosure volume from 1.3 cubes to 2 cubes will be a huge difference. You'll actually have deep bass once you increase the box volume. 1.3 cubes is WAY too small.

Alright so it is dual 2 ohm voice coils, don't know why i thought it was dual 4. Now the weird thing is that if I wire it in either series or parallel it comes out to 1.4 ohms either way. Anyone care to explain why that is? Yes it has Magnum D2 By Stereo Integrity on the dust cap.

Measured the box again and it comes out to 1.5 cubes after port and driver displacement. Would there still be any difference if i put it in the box mentioned if my original post?

If you don't put that driver in 2 cubes ported you are missing out on a LOT of low end.
