Default Best amps for BM MKIII (suggestions please)

Hi,

I am awaiting arrival of a pair of BM MKIII's to use in a 07' Mazdaspeed 3 and I was hoping for some suggestions on amps. The goal is to keep it clean and simple without major space or power requirement. I will be using the car's Bose system hu because it controls other functionality I need.

I have coming :
Hertz HSK165cs 6.5" comps
MS-8 coming in a couple of months
and not sure if I want or need rear fill/center? What would you recommend?

I own and could use a JL300/4, JL300/2, Crescendo 1000c4
for this build or just use these amps on the weekend convertible that already has HO alternator.

Your advice and experience would be much appreciated.

You probably want something at least 900rms @1ohm for a pair of MKIII's.
Elemental Designs Nine.1 is great for only $250.

I only pre-ordered 1 MKIII but I am hoping to get 1-3 more, if i do I will be running that amp for 2 MKIII's or 2 of those amps for 4.

If space is a concern, that is where your budget comes in, Soundstream has some powerfull small footprint amps for a good price, other thatn that you go up to the higher priced small amps like alpine's PDX line or JL's XD line.

Wouldn't I have a final load of 4ohm or 1 ohm with 2 dvc 4ohm speakers?

Which Sundown and RE amps are you recommending?

thank you.

Sorry my brain was in overload when I posted...Yes you will want a 4ohm or 1 ohm load for the pair. The 4ohm will be an easier current draw on your electrical system. but it is not easy to find an amp capable for 900 rms @4ohm without spending an arm and a leg. The Sundown SAX 1200D is a beast of an amp...SSA Store - Sundown Audio SAZ-1200D Amplifier and would work well for you as long as you set your gains properly. The ED Nine.1 also is rated at 1200rms@1ohm and is a strong amp too at about $75-100 less

You all are aware that BM mkIII's are only available in dual 4 Ohm, right?

^^^^^^^ Fully aware! Two BM's at dual 4ohm running mono should give a final of 4ohm or 1ohm depending on how they are wired.

Correct???

Isn't the SAX1200D rated at 360w @ 4 ohm ? Is this enough to run a pair of BM MKIII's?

I am trying to keep the electrical load low for this install (smallish alternator) so looking for an amp sufficiently powered to sound good with a pair of BM MKIII's that I can run @4ohm.

I'd get this one:
Lanzar OPTI500X2 Optidrive 2000 Watt 2 Channel Competition Class Mosfet Amplifier

Heard it on midbasses and subs and it really puts them to test.
