Haha. . Believe me, I want to and will but I'm going to wait a week or so before making a decision.

Hey guys,

I think nah, let's just wait till she's perfect. A couple of extra months' wait is nothing in the scheme of things. And in my book, unlike some manufacturers Nick's track record in bringing products to fruition when he says they will be is beyond reproach. Good things come to those who wait

I bet no-one wanted to hear that, haha

If it isn't soon, I will have to go with two SQ 10's from Elemental Designs.

Nick,

Ryan has the MKII prototype - my review is on DIYMA - I'll get it over here soon.

I think you should have two runs:

1st run now for those who need this sub to fit in their cars, and have been waiting (it is hard to gage how many have wanted the driver, but have had to go elsewhere because it is hard to have no sub or crappy sub sound in their car for such a long time). Most of this group wouldn't care too much about the aesthetics.

2nd run when the cosmetics are finished.

I think 2 price points would be advantages as well - gets the excitement going - gets word of mouth out there for those who have not heard of SI - by the time that happens, the 'perfected' run will be done.

I actually just received an email with two new pictures: one is of the etching and the other is a new diaphragm that will hopefully look better. We should have more images and another sample done next week. With that news, I'm going to hold off and make the drivers perfect since it is (hopefully) just around the corner.

Understood. That actually clears up a lot. Thanks.

Nick, on a side note, have you heard anything concerning our last discussion on the phone?

Not yet, but I did run it by our facility. They haven't gotten back to me though.

I've never understood the cosmetic aspects. They hide in boxes. Build them and charge less money and skip the cosmetics of it.

Honestly, tell me your going to build them, give me a cost and I'll send you some money to get on the list.

I want this sub that much.
