![]() You keep remembering me... That's a good thing. Man I still remember, a few years back, when I was looking for subwoofers, I contacted you. I was trying to decide if I should buy 2 (old models) Mag or the RE XXX (Mk I). Due to circumstances, I choose 2 RE XXX's back then. Was a good choice, to bad I really never get to listen to the Mag though. Not many people overhere (the Netherlands) buy (unknown brand) subwoofers. Most people over here are Rockford or GroundZero biased. Oh well, their loss.

). I was thinking more in terms of Q & F3. Are we going to be in low Q/low F3, high Q/High F3, high Q/low F3, etc ?? |

Both will be dependent upon the vehicle's transfer function, the actual airspace in front of and behind the cone, and any leaks. There's no real way to tell until it's in the vehicle and measured. WE could estimate, but as you've stated, we still don't have an anechoic response from a production unit yet, hence my previous response.

Ryan's right, in your vehicle with the driver(s) in an IB alignment, it's impossible for us to calculate F3, F10, etc without actually owning one and testing it ourselves. Like Ryan said, IB will give you the deepest flattest response possible. It also takes your power handling and chunks it out the window. With the response that the new Mag and BM's are going to have in small sealed boxes it's kind of fruitless to want an IB install.
As it stands now, the new Mag's F3 is 10 Hz lower than the current Mag's F3 when they're both in 1 cubic foot sealed. 10 Hz lower is a BIG difference!
