New Mag and BM pictures

The Mag's are going into production first. After I get final pictures (hopefully this week) I'm having the build house start making the drivers.

The BM's will be after the Mag's because we still need a working prototype to approve. Haha, fun fact about the BM's - the 12" BM has a 10" spider.

It also has a LOT of glue surface area behind the flat cone. Imagine smearing a 5" circle with glue - that's how much glue surface area we have behind the cone.

No T/S's for either driver yet. I want to allow people to listen to them first. The Mag proto will soon be on its way to Ryan so there will be opinion #3 soon.

Trust me guys, I'm working on making it happen ASAP! After visiting the 3 build houses that we're using I'm pumped to the gills!

Hey Nick,

What about the heat handling with the new Mag? My current RL-p12 subwoofers got a little warm/hot from time to time. :S

Placed too close to your exhaust system?

You shouldn't be having to put alot of wattage to them to heat them up with the new models...right?

Efficiency is a good thing.

They are getting approx. 1000W RMS each (2x JL Audio 1000/1)... But I am switching to the new Mag's, at least when Nick hurries up with the production of the new Mags

Anyways about the Soundsplinter's; the last time I checked them, was a while back, the conus got warm (not hot, but warm enough) after a few minutes playing. Anyways I don't like how they sound and I tried them in ported and sealed enclosures. But I am done with them.

I am currently redoing my whole install, I have everything at home (or it's on it's way), except for those subwoofers!!! :P

Ah well... I can wait...
