Cool, looks like a good fit.

Yeah the fit is good, I just won't be able to store my driver's t-top on that side now. That slot on top is for my rack mount DD amp. I originally wanted to make the front of the box slanted but making it tall enough so that the sub doesn't hit the amp would have made the box too large. Right now it's a perfect .5 cube after amp and sub displacement.

Yep, the amp is rack mount:
![]() The amp has a gasket around the face that may be enough to seal it. If not, there is this weather stripping stuff I have used to seal boxes in the past. It's not normal rubber weather stripping...it comes in a roll, it's only about as thick as a bead of silicone, and it's tacky and gummy so you can break it apart or stretch it. A strip of that around the amp will seal it just fine. |

Mmh...two heat sources in only 1cu ft of sealed airspace? I wouldn't expect that amp to be able to play for too long unless it's way overbuilt. I mean look at the sides, they're the heatsinks and they'll be venting inside the box. If it had some kind of exhaust on the front I'd say go for it, but the way it is I just don't think it's a very wise decision. It's a cool, streamlined concept otherwise, though.

Yeah that is a concern but I think it will be ok because at the moment it's power output is a bit overkill compared to the rest of the system so it won't be pushed very hard at all. Plus it is made to mount inside enclosures so I'm sure DD built it to take some heat.
