I would imagine any subwoofer that can sound good on rap music will sound good on just abut anything. I wish they would start production so they would get available. Go ahead and put me down for 3 just in case I need an extra.

I actually totally disagree If you're an sq guy looking for realistic natural sound reproduction rap isn't so good. Sub durability would be well tested with rap lol. I'm looking for a sub that isn't boomy (by boomy I mean something that is loud in a narrow range but struggles to reproduce all lows creating an imbalance/boomy sound) but rather performs equally through all low frequencies not just a small range.

Sounds like you really need a JL "Tight"

Man I hope so....Nothing like building four or 5 boxes to see what subs you prefer. It's gonna be one hell of a I tried these but went with this sale. New mag, diamond 10's, 4 8s and 2 bm's.....descisions, decisions. If I only had power for 4 bm's.

I've also been lurking & considering the new BM to replace the JL 10W3 in a 'Stealthbox' installed in my 300ZX-tt. Looks like it would be just the ticket, given the small/shallow enclosure.

Any rough idea when production units will be available?

Default BM impedance?

Nick,

What imepdance(s) will the BM be offered in? SVC or DVC? I apologize if you have already been over this. Never mind, found it. Dual 4 ohm only. Hmmm, that means I'll have to buy 2 to get the impedance(s) I want.

I'm actually glad the release date is a ways off. I won't have the cash for them until next year
