Default Just out of luck?

So...
My first post. I'm an old-time car system gym rat, who's been through many MANY systems, been a sound judge at many shows and events, and now, in my declining years, just like to fool around with bass in my vehicles...usually just to enhance factory systems.
I had never heard of SI, until a couple weeks ago, when i started research into adding a sub to my Mini. After a lot of reading, I'd love to try one of these subs...but it appears impossible. Am I reading things correctly, that the Mark III has been discontinued before the Mark IV is available, and the IV has not even been prototyped yet, correct? Which basically means there's nothing to purchase, and may not be for months, right?

A shame...I'd love to try these...BUT...also want to do something now....

You are correct.

There are threads about the mkIV here, BM mkIV progress and update 02/24/2010, and here, SI bmIV contained within our forum.

I have been waiting about a year for the new subs to be ready, and I will continue to wait, I have heard nothing but praise and satisfaction from anyone who owns this brand of sub. I have not seen 1 negative post and that is impressive to me. I have tried many different subs and have built fairly powerful systems in the past, I purchased my new truck and have the whole system set up with top of the line stuff from the head unit to the mids, tweets, amps and x-overs. I refuse to use any other sub and I have only read about SI and the MK subs, I have never heard them irl yet. I have the sub box made to spec and ready to go and the amp, so when these are ready I am ready.......I am sure it will be worth the wait.
