Hey Nick!
I'm sure you are swamped, but thought I'd ping you to see if you had any ETA's on the new BM's? Left you a couple VM's, so thought i'd try here. I did the preorder which had a clear 60 day notice. It will be 90 days this friday. I'm not in a huge rush and have been pretty patient (for me) , but thought i'd see if there was any general announcement on delays, or updated ETA's?Feel free to PM me if you need my number, or it's probably in my order. Hope all is going well - thanks! rob |

Rob,
As the web site stated, there are no refunds on pre-orders (whether the 60 day delivery time is valid or not). We anticipate having everything ready to go (aka: drivers shipped out) by the end of this month. I have exhausted every monetary source possible to bring this second batch to fruition. All I ask is that those of you who have pre-ordered be patient with me through this ordeal. ...believe me, if any of you are pissed about this, I'm MORE pissed. Most people don't understand that I pour every ounce of my energy into my products. I don't sit here and tell people what to do and rake in the funds. I know that what I do / build is beyond the normal. I know that the little things such as the Lexus white pearl metallic paint raises the build cost by over such a margin that most companies wouldn't justify on a new tooling. Then there is the etching on the backplate, which is clear coated to eliminate oxidation. Then there's the extremely tight gap, linear BL, low inductance, brass shorting ring, etc. I know and understand all of this. So much so that things with SI might change drastically in the future. I hate to say it, but things might change / down-size in the very near future.

You make a unique product, which i am 100% behind. It's worth the wait and I'm thinking of ordering another (or two). All I ask is for some updates to know where we are at on any delays. I understand they will happen, and hope that we don't frustrate you to the point of cheaping out (easier in the short run, but you'll lose a lot of us in the long run). I understand stress and stretching yourself too thin - i hope you can find a happy middle to do what you do so well, without your MD telling you to stop! Anyway - end of the month - no problem. Thanks for the update and good luck!! rob |

Rob,
Thanks for clarifying. I just sent out another newsletter which should help explain the pre-order situation / ETA of the drivers.

We are waiting on delivery of the dustcaps/top diaphragms right now. They have shipped from overseas but have not arrived yet. After they get here, the pre-order drivers will be built. After the pre-order drivers are built and shipped, a few select orders will be taken - probably via email only. We'll know more about the available quantity after the pre-orders are shipped out.
