Default Surprise Find in my House

So I am looking for my old computer yesterday that has all of the old tax records on it from the first years of my small business. Remember it being in the basement closet so down there I head. And lo and behold, look what was all packed up nice and neat in the closet.

Yes, that would be a brand new in box First Gen BM. So the question now is do I find a use for it around the house...I'm sure my stereo setup in the office could use some low end if I wanted to go find an amp for it. Or I could see if I could fit a second one in the truck. It's a tough dilemma, or I could sell it and try to get a new model BM for the wife's car.

Any thoughts? And more than that, how did I forget that I had a brand new BM sitting in the basement?

How in the world did you forget that you had a brand new, original, BM?! Haha, that's awesome though! Those are great subs - especially when you put them in a ported enclosure. It's a tough choice as to sell it or keep it.

On a related note, I found two, new-in-box, original BM 10's a few months ago.

Exactly my thought too. I am thinking I am going to put it in a big ported box tuned low and replace the Klipsch doing HT duty. Then use the Klipsch for stereo listening.

Wife told me how it ended up under boxes in basement...she put it there. Didn't like the fact I bought it and was waiting to use it so she stored it. Danged work trips. Leave town for 4 weeks and look what I come home to. But hey, I got one of the original BM's now to do some serious work. Watch out U-571 and my neighbors on both sides.

Home theatre duty for sure.
