It is in RMS. We have never rated anything in peak figures (excursion, power, etc).

*edit* I fixed the FAQ answers to read all in RMS.

Ok, one more question. I have a box made to fit my truck and for some reason I forgot to mention to the builder that I needed each side sealed. Now I have a box that is 1.10cubes but both subs will be mounted in the same box. No seperation. Will this work or did I just give away $$$$ for a paper weight?

There's no need to separate the chambers. A common chamber enclosure will work great.

Creating a down firing box in my hatch. The box will be a false floor so it will take up the whole hatch. Was going to just recess the speaker 3/4" - thickness of mdf). Do I need to raise if off floor and by how much? Each edge is going to against a wall - do I need some space/vents?

Thanks

You need to leave some room for the diaphragm to move and for bass to get into your cabin. Minimum required space above the gasket/surround is 0.5".
