Hi Nick, do you have a sample pictures on how you install/put those fiberglass lining? And would you recommend to put DynaXorb? DynaXorb
If yes, should I put all over the wall inside the box, or just behind the woofer? Can the Dynaxorb be put together with fiberglass lining?

If I were to build a box for the MK, with the thinest depth, would stuffing it with dynaxorb or fiberglass lining necessary still?

Thx Nick.

When you say 'walls' do you mean the bottom of the enclosure too, or does there need to be one blank area inside the box?

If you are having this much anxiety about using fiberglass, don't use it. Simply use Polyfill and you'll be fine. I'm not familiar with Dynaxorb, so I can't say how its effects are on subwoofer performance or how to use it.

If there is enough room behind the subwoofer, then yes, I mean line the back/bottom of the enclosure too.

so does lining the inside with fiberglass achieve the same benefits and more as the polyfill? you the polyfill fools the sub into thinking its in a bigger enclosure therefore it plays lower, does the glassing do the same?

I think the glass works better than polyfill.

Using fiberglass insulation (which is not the same as fiberglassing the inside of the enclosure because it is insulation, not fiberglass mat, so no resin is used) inside the enclosure helps damp any resonances, which results in smoothing out the frequency response. Using fiberglass insulation also aids in LFE (low frequency extension) because it also fools the subwoofer into thinking it's in a larger sized enclosure. Polyfill is still top dog as far as "adding" enclosure volume, but fiberglass damps the enclosure very well.

Is the 450 watt rating rms or peak? I have a rockford that tested at 675 watts rms.
