Fathers Day Present

My son got me a 3 Supercar ride which consisted of a Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin Vantage and a Nissan Twin-turbo GT-R. They offer this as a 3 hour package here locally and take you out a bunch of backroads where you get the chance to open them up occasionally. All had paddle shifters in back of the steering wheels.

Is the Gallardo the monster Jeremy Clarkson makes it out to be or can it be tame?

Side note: Lambo has the best exhaust systems I have ever heard on "stock" vehicles. I do love the F1 inspired Enzo though.

The Lambo had the best exhaust note. Although the Aston sounded AWESOME above 4k RPM. It was a hard toss up between the two, but the Lambo took honors on exhaust note. there's nothing like a V10 revving to 8k RPM.

On the performance side, the GTR was the fastest and the quickest shifting. For $198,000 the Lambo should have been a LOT faster. The tranny sounded like it was falling out of the vehicle constantly, the shifts were slow, and the oil light was on all the time. All was expected though...typical Italian.

PS: Jeremy Clarkson is a tool.

Man I'd love to even just sit in a Lambo, let alone drive it. Finally saw one in real life a couple weeks ago.
