Default Casino Bar A/V Install I did (pics)

I have a new job installing commercial audio and video equipment. We got a big job a few weeks ago taking part in the remodeling of a local casino's bar. Everything took about a week to do, working 12 hours a day, with only 2-4 guys on the crew. I figured you guys would be interested in this kind of stuff.

Equipment is as follows:

-20 Panasonic Plasma tvs: (2) 65", (8) 58", and (10) 50"
-About 20 JBL speakers, mostly ceiling mount with a few wall mounts
-6 JBL subwoofers, 5 ceiling mount and one in a normal box that's hidden in a soffit
-20 DirectTV HD receivers fed by two satellite dishes
-1 XM radio receiver
-3 Crown Amps
-3 EQs
-Crestron touch panel system that allows the audio and video to be controlled by either of two touch panels

That's one of the 65" tvs on the left.

Another 65"

One of the touchscreen panels that controls everything. That's basically the floorplan of the bar with each color being a separate audio zone. You can touch one of the red flags to change the audio in that zone. Each of those black rectangles is a tv.

Once you choose a tv this screen comes up:

You get a video feed and can utilize remote functions like the channel guide or number pad. You can also turn the tv on and off.

Smaller ones are regular speakers. The big one is a sub. 6 subs and I think 20 speakers total.

The rack that controls everything

Shot of some of the satellite receivers, amps, and EQs. Two of the EQs have covers on them.

Another touch panel, same setup on it

And all of the wires I had to run across that place and into the room. There are several thousand feet worth and the black wires are about $2 a foot. I spent all day today organizing them and making them look neat behind the rack.

Wow, thats pretty awesome

Did you know that Nick does some commercial installs too ? He has, IIRC, eight of the old 12" BMs in a restaurant here in town for live performances.

Great looking stuff. Got a close up of the mounts you use to hang two tv's back-to-back? Name of the company?

It's just a small company in northwest Indiana.

No pics of my own of the mounts but here is a link to them Flat Panel Dual Screen Mounts for 30" to 50" Plasmas and LCDs

Man, that is a wicked system! Nicely done too!

We do some commercial stuff around here too. Like Jake said we've got 8 12" BMv1's along with two towers (8 6.5's and 8 tweeters per tower) at the restaraunt at the lake. It makes most home systems sound like crap.

Thanks. That setup you did must sound awesome. We don't really do anything as fancy as that...at least as far as the audio goes.
