Thanks man! I just PM'd him to see if I could snag 'em. Getting another pair of these will make the install a LOT easier. I really don't want to build kicks again using the four Audax 5.25's.

And if I snag the Koda's I'm going to try to shove the Koda's and the Morel tweets in the doors and have NOTHING in the kick area. I've got an idea for modifying the factory speaker grills to accomodate the tweeters so I can still use the factory grills.

It's just a former cap - paper cap on top of the former.

I recall Dan mentioning that any dust cap he tried worsened driver performance.

I bought those Koda's today. Looks like the Civic's install just got a LOT easier!!

And yep, as Jake said, it's just a former cap. Every dust cap Dan tried worsened the performance, so it ended up with a former cap!

PS: With a 3/4" spacer the Koda's barely fit inside the doors of a Honda. 2 more mm and the backplate would hit the window.

What is the mounting depth? 3"? I would worry about the front of the speaker too, it might hit the grill, unless you ripped it out

Also what is your choice of deadener you will be using?
