there is one thing i kinda dont like on the mag. is that "pre dustcap" vc plug. i forgot to glue that to the inverted cap so it was buzzing like a mofo.


im sure it has a purpose to keep the pressure off that next dustcap but whatev.

Yeah, I know what you mean. We did away with that former cap on the new Mag.

i decided if i do buy new mag i will put the same dustcap im using right now on that mag too. I love this alloy inverted look.

I highly advise against doing that. Sorry to rain on your parade but the new Mag is much more critical to its original design than the previous Mag. The moving mass on the new Mag is considerably lower than the previous Mag, so a big aluminum dust cap is going to add a good bit of weight and throw off the parameters quite a bit.

you really think it would affect it that much?

you said the same about my nuke, and all that happened was a lower Fs

but that also was NOT a low mms woofer...
