Yeah, it's the first and last Harmony we'll ever use. I like the ability to control everything (including the macro's), and the way it currently sits it misses things from time to time.

![]() I still like the Universal Remotes 900 and 950's a lot better because I can manipulate/control every step of every macro.

harmony remotes are the shit... hands down.
nick, you can control all of the macros in the remote easily through the software, you can adjust everything on them through the set up. i still hate the universal remotes at all, they are expensive and every one my parents have had has been a huge turd that breaks... the harmony's are just as flexible and customizable as the universal's are and as for missing some commands, im willing to bet its a problem with the set up, or the IR commands are not reaching the device.i do believe you can turn off the confirmation screen in the software. you remote control newbs . i have been contemplating getting that remote you guys have, i am between that and the 890. the 890 is the same as the 880 that i have except with RF abilities, which i will need if/when i get my projector.

Well maybe I'll have to hire the Harmony Specialist called Hoss to come show me how to make that remote not continue to be a steaming pile of shite.
Marty and I both hate it. Every MX-900 I've used has been great. One of my customers has 3 of them in their home and they work fantastic - no problems at all. However, I have dealt with some POS Universal remotes that just never seem to work. On a different note, RTI's are supposed to be a lot more user-friendly than the Universal's. I think we'll try those for our next install and see how we like them.
