yup, ill say it again, no shit...

you have a camera that costs, no exageration here..., 6 times the cost of my camera... but my camera still suits my needs.

you dont have to float your ego here.

you have a camera that probably exceeds your needs, you win . until i see your photography, ill give you the fact that you have a better camera, and that is all...

but i bought my camera because i have a hobby that includes photography. not because i have a disposable income... plus, i would MUCH rather carry arounda d40 than a D3... smaller, lighter, much easier to replace... and it still takes great pictures. if i decide to take it past a hobby and turn it into a career, i would invest. otherwise, i wouldnt waste my money like you did . you can now take your gloating/ego elsewhere. i am happy with my camera.

regaurdless im still jealous of the D3, not jealous at all at the fact that you own one, because its still way above my needs... but its a badass camera. but i HIGHLY doubt you use it to anywhere near its ful abilities

id also be more than willing to bet that i could run circles around you with a fully manual film camera... and yeap, i have a portfolio to back that claim up

i like the brokeh in the background of this one. i really like the large aperture of this lens, i just dont like now non-linear the focus is on it . makes it hard to get a clear focus with a large aperture because it is so fine...

wasnt trying to float any ego, i do apologize if i did. but its one of those things like car audio, when you use something of greater its hard to go back.
I'll give you this yours is a better point and shoot. We only use the D2x and d200 for the most part. We just bought the d3 2 weeks ago. and you are absolutely right it has a lot of functions that are different.
