Hello,
I recently read through the thread about using the previous generation mag for home usage. I was wondering if the future generation mag would need to be ported for home usage. Also, what size box, and how much power would you recommend if it needs to be ported? In the case that it does not need to be ported, how much power do you think would be necessary to really be able to feel the bass in a smaller size room? Also, how does the new mag compare to the rythmik audio ds12tc? Thanks in advance, Dan Last edited by sprtwin1; 07-24-2008 at 09:32 PM. |

Dan, as Megalo stated, the v4 Mag is designed for sealed only. You can run it ported in a home, but you're looking at ~2.5 cubes ported and only being able to use ~300-400 watts due to how compliant the susension is.
But... It would make a pretty cool super-small-box HT sub.
