I'm running SEAS separates in my truck, the overall sound is very clean.

Actually, I'm looking into Morel 5 1/4's to replace the 6 1/2's in the S. The Mag covers the lower range so well, I can afford to run a higher freq xover and thus the 5 1/4's over the 6 1/2's. Being as the door is so shallow on the S, being able to run 5 1/4's means a much wider selection of speakers

If you are going with 5 1/4, then I have heard great things about the Hybrid Audio Clarus 5.
Since you're active:
Ti5 MID - Phoenix Gold 5.25" Titanium Elite Midrange speakers (Pair)
+
either MT-23 - Morel 28 mm Soft-dome Tweeters
or MD 102 - Dynaudio 1.1" Soft Dome Tweeters
or if you have the money AudiomTLR - Focal Utopia SQ Competition Tweeter - you have all the necessary processing (in your Eclipse) to take care of this one

Else, I would look into brands like Morel, Audio System, JBL (high end only)

Hope that helps,
Kelvin

I was digging the Morel-esque PG mid until I read the "low carbon pole piece." If it's low-carbon it won't have very good magnetic properties.

And if you don't mind sanding/cutting off the flanges on a brand new tweeter, the Morel MDT-12 is a much less expensive alternative to the MT-23's listed above. They're a little bit bigger and harder to mount, but they're 10 times less expensive.

I've already invested in the same SEAS Prestige tweeters I have in the truck, lol.

Just looking for the mids now. Here's what I'm limited to as far as mounting depth:

I won't be using the speaker basket, but I have plenty of space for a 3/4" spacer (maybe even 1"), so I can maybe get 72 - 78mm mounting depth.

I'm really leaning towards 5 1/4" Revelators (mostly b/c they're one of the few woofers Madisound has in 4ohm configuration).
