Well thanks for the advice (sorry for not responding sooning, but I lost track of my thread), but they couldn't help me.

Well apparently Iraggi can help me. He can set me up with an 300A alternator for 600 USD.

Thing is Tirefryr wasn't very positive about Iraggi, also it strikes me strange, that no other company / person can build me a custom high output alternator and Iraggi can...?

It's a lot of money and I don't want to throw it "away" on an alternator which I cannot use, once I receive it.

I did ask him for a few pictures of the alternator he is going to send to me (if he has pictures), so I could send them to Lexus in my country and ask them if it would fit....

Then only difference would be the drive-end which is what will constitute the bolt pattern. Also, the regulator could be different as well, but I believe your computer controls your regulation, so it should just read the field voltage and adjust accordingly.

So I will be "safe" even though you did not recommend Iraggi?

...cause I really need a bigger alternator and no one can cross-reference the alternator, let alone build me a custom high output alternator.

I had a bad experience with him, and I know a lot of other people who have as well which is why I rec. against him, but it's your money, just beware.

Just to let you know, nobody but Iraggi wanted to build me an alt, which struck me strange as well, and I was suspicious, but I took a dive, and now am a proud owner of an amazing alt by Iraggi. It was benched, and put out what it said it would.

Yeah I read your postings on CA.com...

Well I contacted Matt from Mechman and it seems they can help me out as well. So I am hoping for the best. At least he gets really good reviews and he responds fast as well in contrary to Iraggi.
