okay guys here is what is going on! the feedback in my speaker has returned and keeps getting worse by the day!
okay i found out the source of the problem it is my deck and somehting is touching something that it shuodlnt' be. okay now i have no clue what it coudl be. when the feedback starts up if i push my deck in the feedback goes away, if i pull the deck out it gets worse but when i take my deck out completely the feedback is 100% gone. wtf!!!! i have never had a problem with my deck and it has been installed for close to 2years now. so now i need to ask for expert advice what could cause this feedback and why? and can i even fix it? thanks Ken |

Feed back typically refers to(in simple terms) a microphone picking up the sound from the speakers and reproducing it again.
Can you describe the problem that you're experiencing? Also, if you can....remove the head unit with all wiring still attached. With the sound system on, wiggle the connections on the back of the head unit. By the connectors and by the jacket just behind the connector. Listen closely for any changes in the sound. You might have a bad connection that's making intermittent contact as the cable is crushed or moved. |

Ken, definitely look at this as your problem, pull the deck, check all the wiring and heat shrink or wrap each wire to make sure they aren't shorting somewhere. Also check them all the way down the signal chain to make sure your rca's didn't get cut somewhere.
but definitely check the deck |

i just checked the deck again it turns out some of my black tape which has been on there forever decided to fall off the ground and i think it was touching the back of my deck and also the power black tape was falling off. so i jsut retaped them and like magic the buzz went away! but i will give it a few days before i call this quits!
and the rcs aren't getting the issue b/c when i move the deck around push on it and what not the feedback comes back. so i will see if new tape fixes anything. other then that it has me baffled! but i will keep plugging away at it! |
