Default What would you do?? all help needed

hey guys i am faced with a trying question.

here is what is going on. i jsut got a piar of component speakers which want 150 rms at 4ohm. i jsut also purchased a 100.4 amp which will not give 150 rms at 4ohm unless i bridge the amp just to get the extra 50rms and loose a channel.

but if i loose one channel i will not be able to hook both my component speakers up and my rear speakers also 100rms.

so what should i do? would you bridge the channel and lose your rear speakers just for an extra 50rms? my question is will i feel the 50rms? if so like how mcuh just a little or a lot. also my next question is i also have a orion 400.2 which is currently running rear speakers. so i guess i could keep both my amps?

orion amp
Orion 4002 2-Channel Car Audio Amplifier

sundown amp
Sundown Audio - SAX 100.4

component speakers
Zapco RB-13.2 - Zapco 5.25" 2 Way Component System

rear speakers
Pioneer USA - Pioneer

run it at 100/channel. you'll be fine its going to be plenty loud.

think of how loud those crappy 20wrms decks can make speakers... you'll really be okay w/ 100/channel

i'm in london ontario soon, u can come listen to mine and u can see what i mean. i'm running about half of rms wattage on speakers and i dont think you'd want more output :O

are you using a pair of zapco's? see i am asking only b/c i know my deck will only give my rear speaekres 20rms which isn't to much, and also my buddy has a pair of components not sure the name something like cdm and he is pushing 200rms per side and they sound amazing.

Use the Sundown and be done. Just because the RMS is 150 doesn't mean they need 150. Depending on the application, they may not even be able to safely handle 150.

You won't notice a difference. To hear and increase or decrease in volume requires a 3dB gain or decrease. This is equal to doubling/halving power, so the only way you would hear a difference is to run them at 300 watts.
