Default feedback is in my speakers help me please!

okay here is the deal! i just wired my new kinetik 2400hc battery in the back of my car, i ran 2 runs of 0/1 wire (positive and negative) with 2 250amp inline anl fuses to boot. i have NO subs running off of the battery all i have is an orion 4002 running my 2 6x9 in the back.

when the engine is on i get feed back and as i accelerate the noise also accelerates (umm gets higher pitch as the engine revs). when the engine is off though i have zero feedback at all! WTF.

i currnetly have a 4gauge ground from my first battery to the engine block, and one 0/1 gauge from the first battery to the chassis.

and i also have my alt grounded to the chassis as well! so i don't kno what did i forget to do? any idea would be hot! feedback is killing me!

i have my power/ground wires on the passenger side and the rca on the drivers side!

and yes ground loop is installed on my pioneer premer 880 phr deck!

thanks all in advance who lend and idea!

Sounds like alternator whine. Check your amplifier ground first. Check battery ground resistance at the battery to chassis then check your grounding point to the battery negative terminal. Use a dmm set to ohms.

make sure your RCA's are far from power wires, and that you have a really good ground. alternator whine can be a bitch to pinpoint. good luck.

hey guys i found my feed back! is everyone ready to lol at me now! lol.

okay you know that little wire which runs from the deck to the amp that turns the amp on when the deck turns on, umm the remote turn on wire lol! well i ran that one on the same side as my power and ground wires! found my feedback! plus i used to have to amps in my truck and recently removed one and i didn't have black tape on the open end of the second remote turn on wire lol. o well i still got some feedback but for now i think i found my problem! i never knew this could be a problem! go figure! i though only rca could pick up feedback from a power wire!!

you knwo what would be even funnier is if the remote turn on wire wasn't giving me feedback! lmoa adn had nothign to do with it lol!

okay that didn't fix anything! fuk!

i just pulled the remote turn my amp on wire and re-ran it on the other side of my car, opposite the power/ground wires!

good news is the noise is down to half
bad news is IT IS STILL there!!
good news i can't hear my car ideal any more, i only hear it when i rev up over 3k rpm! like wtf! will this ever go away!

does anyone have another suggestion for me, or someother wire could make feedback! like righ now i am lost! my brain is done for the night lol!!!

Alternator whine is usually due to bad ground for the amp (so pick another spot or try cleaning up the metal at the ground point).

Also you are running a Pioneer unit so this is another possibility. It's possible you blew the pico fuse in the unit. (you can search (google) on pioneer and pico fuse problem).

Ground the rca's and that is one way to fix your problem without sending the headunit in for the fuse to be replaced.

hey man thanks for the suggestions. i have grounded a piar of my rca already on the back of my head unit!

i will try to re ground my amp to the car rather then the extra battery and see if that does anything! thanks for the suggestions. i will let you know how itt goes!

quick question will alt whine hurt my subs? or will i even hear it in my sub? b/c if i am unable to ground my amps to my second battery wouldn't that pose some kind of problem?

hey man i just took my ground off of my extra battery and put it on my chassie and guess what!!! NO MORE NOISE!

my nnext question to you is why when my ground is on the second battery does it make alt whine? how can i fix it? also wil this create a problem for my next to amps (1000d sundown amps) or should i be fine?

thanks!
Ken
