Default Should I buy sundown amps now???????

Should I buy sundown amps now, or will the possible package deal be better. Im getting ready to go back to school (aug 15th) (worried I wont even have mags by then also) and I want to do work on the truck ie mount my amps amps and get all of my door speakers in the truck and working and everything as sound deadened as I can.

Anyone have imput on if the package deal could be better than the prices now? 2 1000d's and 1 100.2 runs me 825 from a sundown internet dealer. its $275 off regular price. Could I expect a package deal with better prices or do is there any way to know right now?

Im just getting impatient haha, I have so much to do on the truck.

if i was you i would just spend the money on the amps and get all that set up. it is what i am goign to do next week (i already have my amps, and second battery) see if you have that money jsut sitting by you are more likey to use it on something else, like women or dope, or movies aka you get the point!

so basically i say if you are seriously about this go with getting the amps and getting it all in before school.

also one more thing to note! when you are in school how much free time will you have to do a nice install on some amps and killer subs, rather then jsut a half ass fast one on a saturdya or sunday you know.

like me i am going to have my amps, battery and box all made and ready to go so once i get the new killer subs (2) al i do is pop them in and rock out! o i am also goign to set the gain on all of my amps also with a multimeter!

o well that is my opiion, i also don't think there will be a crazy deal but then i have been wrong in the past you know! will wonder never stop!

cheers!
ken

Ya I see what your saying! Easy thing is I have this money set aside for audio. I cant even began to tell you how "high" my music has been since last summer. Once the subs blew all I had were premium mb quarts amped and then some db drive fills in the back. I remember when my truck had 4 ladies in it, I was driving we were all goin out to have a good time with a bunch if friends and they brought a rap cd, and they were drunk and ready to dance, and all I had to offer was high notes. I mean this was like a reverse boner. So since then I have been putting money aside each pay check to get this.

But I just know whatever decision I make would be wrong. with my luck I will buy the amps tomorrow and then the package deal is something crazy like half off. ahhh I wish I could just make a decision. I have decided this weekend I am gonna try to build a seat lift for my truck, not sure how thats gonna turn out.

well if it was i who had this trying decision to make i would for sure go with getting the amps! sure save 100 here and 100 here in the long run it jsut makes more head ache only b/c you have to wiat and then comes time to do a HUGE install and me i can't waste a whole day on an install b/c i know i will mess somehting up b/c i am workign hard and fast and i will end up missing somehting which will cost me hours in the long run! which isnt' good!

i would rather install bits and piece eh! like pull my back seat out, hide amps under it and second battery day one, day two run wires(all) day 3 put subs in.

and in my spare time which is hard to come by on a 65hour work weeks build a box , and a plexy glass enclouse for my amp with side mount fans (since it is all going to be under my read seat with no air)

well crap now you have me thinking, I wonder if I should put fans on my amps since they will be behind my seat, with minimal air movement at best.

After I deaden the truck Ill see where I stand but ill probably do what your saying and just pick them up.

Fans are never a bad idea - not always 100% necessary, but cooler amps are never bad. It especially helps on those 90 - 100 degree days

which for me those 90-100 days are almost everyday except 2 weeks around new years. Slight exageration but yall get my point. I mean according to Weather.com its 9am here and it feels like its 91 degrees out here. Above that we also have 70% humidty. I love Houston to death, but when if I ever control the world, Im gonna put a limo tint between the sun and Houston. This is ridiculous! Thats my complaing for the day, but I might look into a fan. Jake what are your thoughts on your amps running behind my seat (where there will be little air movement) with out a fan?

You may have thermal protect from time to time on 90-100 degree days. I have a few customers out that way and it varies per install, some guys can still play em for an hour or two before thermal on those days - I do suggest a fan if you KNOW it's going to be that hot most of the year, just to prevent the inconvenience of waiting for them to turn on if or when you do thermal one.
