quick question the v3 was the previous mag? and the new one is the v4? so what was the v1 and v2 then?

IIRC, V1 would have been the original claws with the logos on them

V2 was the 12 spoke basket, i believe. could be wrong on this one though.

then V3 would be the ones in a 12 spoke basket with a standard dustcap

now the new V4's are the "ugly" ones in the black basket

Hoss is right.

V1's had black claw baskets and used a TC9 based motor.
V2's had the silver 12 spoke baskets and the same TC9 based motor.
V3's had our upgraded motor and used the silver 12 spoke basket.
V4's are the new Mag's.

So, the TC9 motor on the originals was an XBL^2 motor? Also, why go away from the Claw basket, they are so sexy.

No, it was a long coil / short gap over-hung design.

Only the newest version is XBL^2

Ah, I thought one of the previous gen Mags was an XBL^2 design as well, guess I was wrong, lol.

SWEET!!!

Now if you can recone the new ones, I'll have to buy a couple and destroy them so I can test out my new home anodizing set up. I'm thinking a Kawasaki polished green would look really sweet.
