Default 6.5 inch components

I have literally read over 100 threads all about 6.5inch components. These threads are coming off of ca.com where many people just enjoy giving useless advice without actually hearing or owning the product. I still can not decide what comps to buy. I am not necessarily asking for advice on what to buy, I just simply would like to know what comps u own or have heard and your impressions with them.

Koda's and Polk SR's are the only two sets I would bother looking for. The Koda's will be used, of course, but if you can find a set, pick them up. The SR's are a great set too - the white paper on them is just phenomenal. So anyway, those are my two pics...and I've heard a lot of components through the years.

...or Morel components. Kinda hard to find though.

There's a set of SR's on DIYMA for sale right now - NIB too, if I remember correctly.

i run polk sr6500's and they are the best i have used so far. my previous comps were morel elate 6's. the morels had a tad more midbass, but the sr's just sound better all around. just great speakers.

Scanspeak, Dynaudio or Seas, your choice depending on personal taste.
