I miss my 1500D. I'm hoping by the end of the summer to have a 3000D for myself. I love my VLX but it can't be as efficient as the 3000D. I'm scared to run that amp @ 1 ohm. 140 amp alt and a yellow top isn't really much of an electrical for two old school A/B amps. Both of those amps will be in my car untill I can get a 3000D and a 100.4.

Output POwer at 12.6V:
2 x 200W @ 4 ohms (THD < 0.006%)
2 x 400W @ 2 ohms
2 x 800W @ 1 ohm
2 x 1200W @ ½ ohm
1 x 2400W @ 1 ohm bridged

From Ampguts. I'll be getting it bench tested very soon.

I'm still waiting for the amp the size of a pack of cigarettes that puts out 500 watts and costs 100.00 and only pulls 5 amps max.

bigger is not always better....well sometimes.
