Don't have the 360 either. Not a big Xbox fan aside from Halo, so no point in buying one for me. Not too happy about the price on the PS3 either, but since it includes Blu-ray, I'll spend the money.

Been waiting for the new GTA, but more interested in Gran Turismo.

So, between my housemates and myself we have the 360 and ps3 versions. We went at midnight on Monday to get them. (uber-nerds we are) Anyways, I have to give the nod to the PS3 for this one. Less scenery pop in at distances and for some reason there seems to be less glitches.

Tirefyr: just out of curiosity what is the appeal of Gran Turismo? Not trying to be a dick I'm really just curious because everyone except me seems to love it. Having tried both I liked Forza and PGR significantly more, and no one has ever given me a good reason why GT is better.

I've loved Gran Turismo from the beginning and have just followed it ever since. It provides the most realistic driving experience IMO on any platform.

I played the new Gran Turismo on the PS3 and it's really challenging. The one thing I noticed right off the bat is the weight transfer and more difficulty turning in. Under braking the nose of the car dips a LOT more compared to previous GT's, which makes it harder to brake (you have to start letting off the gas earlier and braking slower sooner before pressing hard on the brake or the car looses control and fish-tails). I give it two thumbs up because it's more realisitic than the previous versions. When you've been on a race track (literally, not just in a game) you quickly realize how un-realistic the games typically are. In my opinion the new Gran Turismo is pretty darned realistic, which is one of the reasons why it's harder to play.

PS: Sorry, I thought this post was about the new GT game, not GTA, haha.
