Ok, but to all the Gran Turismo fans.....have you tried Forza Motorsport? Having played both and driven on track I agree GT is realistic, but so is Forza and I actually think Forza handles better. Additionally Road & Track magazine did a side by side review of both at one point and the conclusion they came to was that Forza was the better pick....though I don't remember when, and this was the first generation of Forza and maybe the third of GT. Anyways just throwing that out there.

Forza never really did it for me. Actually that was the last game I bought before I sold my Xbox.

I only played with pure race cars on Forza and the major thing I noticed was how you could lock up the brakes, where you can't in GT. I'd have to play them side-by-side again to really tell.

Its great fun though. I wouldn't say too realistic, it definitely still has the rockstar vibe to it. And the casual stroll niko has while getting shot at is neither realistic nor usefull....fun though, Times Square looks gorgeous.

Anyone get to the Bank robbery level yet? Its prettymuch taken straight from the movie Heat, fairly difficult though and long. But I think Michael Mann would be proud, really fun.

Not yet, I bought it and got it last week. Too much time on work and studying to really get too far into it. Yes, I hate the Xbox load time. It is dreadful. The PS3 version is money. I wish I could go buy a PS3 now, even with the $100 rebate from sony.

GT5, I love it. I played it at the auto show here in Atlanta a few weeks ago and dang, it's so realistic to true driving, it's ridiculous. I am not talking of graphics, just physics. I like the fact it is so difficult to master and that all the cars are different in every way. Just when you master one car (GT4 here), the next is completely different. I've tried Forza but never really got into it like GT.

Just got my PS3 and GTA yesterday. I am not too keen on it yet. It's such a change from San Andreas. I hate the controls, and the car control is horrible. I hope your vehicle experience grows like in the other games.

The vehicles early in the game are really shitty. They sway and bounce far more than any normal car would. The cars do get better as the game goes on though, and I got used to the controls. I just beat the main story missions yesterday and I have to say it was a fun game. I went back and loaded up San Andreas for a comparison and there is no comparison.I couldn't even play San Andreas for more than 10 minutes and I used to love that game. I guess my point is that the cars get better and you will most likely get used to the controls even though they are a little counter-intuitive.
