Default SI's new demo vehicle:

I thought about titling this "Got a new car!" because it's the same car as JohnMR2turbo.

Anyway, here are a few pics:

Plans for it are two Mag 12's, two SAZ-1000D's, one SAZ-100.4, Audax aerogel mids, special tweets, RF3sixty.2, and TaraLabs wiring.

PS: The car has 18x8.5's up front and 18x9.5's on the rear.

Hell yeah! I was just reading your post on clublexus and I was like wait a minute, I know who this guy is haha.

I like those wheels. Is the suspension stock? I can't wait to see your install so I can get some inspiration for when I actually have money to do mine.

The suspension is not stock at all. It's on some ridiculous springs and KYB GR2 struts. I just bought Eibach springs to raise it back up, so it will ride a lot better. It still rides really good - especially for how low it is, but it's just TOO low for me so I'm raising it back up to about a 1" drop. Right now I think it's ~2.5" lower than stock.

John, can you keep your eyes peeled for a stock CD changer for our cars? Mine powers up just fine but won't read any CD's. You do put the CD's in face UP (label side up) don't you?

Yeah I believe so. Are you using regular cd's or burnt ones? I'm lucky, my previous owner spent like $1,100 on a new OEM changer not too long ago

You could see if he still has his for sale 97 sc300 pioneer factory setup: radio, 12 disc changer and amp. - Club Lexus Forums

Sweet! Thanks, I'll send him a PM.

Regular or burned CD's, nothing happens. I need a new changer.

$1,100?!?! On a stock changer?! Good for you though!

Yeah the previous owner insisted on the dealer doing everything. He also just had all of the headlights replaced which ran him about another 1,000.

loving the look of those cars. Not sure about others but for me its almost a forgotten car, but don't understand why. Love the overall proportions, nice long body and long hood, little bit of class the new cars don't have anymore.
