I had this grand master plan for putting the subs behind the big panel in the trunk until I removed the panel and realized that the panel covers the GAS TANK! It's right behind the rear seats - odd, but I suppose it's for a reason. No subs behind the panel, so I've got to come up with an alternate.

PS: I'm going to take off those rain guards as soon as I find a way to preserve the outer area since they are adhesive'd to the outside of the window trim.

Yeah that's why I'm holding off doing anything right now. Replacing the stereo in this car is too much of a pain in the ass for me to do in the parking lot of my apartment complex

What about trying to put some BMs in the rear deck?

Two BM's could go back there where the rear speakers were but I just don't like IB installs. Sealing off that trunk would be a bastard. I'd rather build a box.

You can just pull those window shades off & use acetone or alcohol too remove adhesive.

Use WD-40. Acetone will eat the clear and alcohol will dull it to a degree.

Thanks. I pulled the rain guards off but haven't cleaned the area yet for fear of ruining the chrome. I'll try WD-40 and see what happens.
