Haha nah it's not a downgrade at all, it's just different. Remember, it is built on the same platform as the Supra which is considered to be above the MR2. I just need to get rid of the body roll and tighten up the old man suspension.

Nick and I got stuck on I-85 for 2 hours one day and we talked to the guy behind us who had one and he said it was one of the best cars he ever owned.

Same for me. The build quality is just outstanding and I've heard nothing but praises for the reliability of them. It's just a nice car overall. The handling and steering are pretty numb but that's nothing that can't be fixed with performance parts.

The guy told us about spinning it off the road into a ditch and getting it back out to find only a scuff mark on the bumper. Isn't it a pretty quiet interior noise level going down the road?

MY buddy is a Lexus tech and he's trying to get me on the bandwagon. You get Toyota reliability, and man, just open and shut the door on one and you can get a feel of the build quality. I haven't heard a nice solid "thud" like that since I last rode in my Dad's Mark IV.
