Default Gas prices affecting the performance crowd

With gas going to 4.00/gallon, the performance market will likely take a pretty good hit as it did back in the 70's.....less racing, money will tighten as more people struggle to buy all the "extra crap" they don't need.

Probably will...but I think it will hit the SRT'ish cars the hardest. AKA, the big V8, 13 mpg crowd. I think the cars like the Nissan 350Z crowd are still going to flourish, but the smaller import crowd is still going to be suping up their rides. Having said that, I think the purchases of new cars are going to be more focused on the smaller, better gas mileage vehicles.

on a road trip i can get about 28-29 MPG

average week i can get about 24-25 mpg

if i stay in the city, or in traffic, about 19 mpg...

of course, all of these figures account for the much needed random flooring it sessions

So, in other words, you actually get 12 MPG
