As the title stated. Many already made boxes are made to this cutout and I wanted to know if its ok. I live in an apartment and don't have the means to build a box at the moment. Thanks for any help.

I need to edit that pic or make a new thread about this. Technically, that document is wrong. However, the technical drawing for the basket is correct. Let me explain:
The spokes of the basket go over the inside ID of the mounting flange, so it's not really a 10.86 cutout. With the spokes in the way it's actually closer to 11 and 3/16'th. As far as flush mounting, the gasket bows out a little also. I'll see if I can get you a measurement on that soon.

well if the cutout needs to be bigger then does the screws need to be moved also?
crap so are you saying that the cut out neeedddsss to be bigger for the mag to fit in? okay i also have another question then how should i go about modifiing my already made boxes? since they have been carpet already and what not? just simply go in there with a router or sometign to open it up... A router or a jig saw. The holes are still in the same areas, but the basket spokes stick over the inside edge so the cutout needs to be opened up a bit. I'll edit the image and post it up on our web page to avoid any further small cutouts.

Is that picture, posted by CrazyKenKid, accurate in terms of cutout?
And I read somewhere the supplied screws are to big? Which ones should I get for a perfect fit? Also what is the Mag v4 subwoofer displacement?

Yeah, the screws are too big to allow the gasket to lay flush. You can use them if you want but there will be 8 raised places on your gasket. We're omitting them from our future shipments.
