Default poly fill!

okay i jsut have to ask!

i have head this work Poly fill going around on this forum eveyone once in awhile, so i though i would ask! what is it? is it like putting wool inside a sealed box to trick the sub to play better? or is it jsut like putting cotton or somethign in your sub box or is it a type of sealer like cock-ing!

and where can i get some

one more question if i may does it make that much of a differences?

Essentially it is pillow stuffing. You can find it at any local Walmart in the soon-to-be-removed craft section. If you don't have a Walmart close by, go to your local craft store.

Polyfill tricks the subwoofer into thinking it's in a bigger box than it really is. Say you have a 1 ft^3 sealed enclosure. If you stuff that enclosure with 1 lb of polyfill the subwoofer will think it's in a 1.25 ft^3 sealed enclosure. And that is the general rule - add 1 lb of polyfill per ft^3 to increase the overall enclosure the subwoofer sees by 25%.

Yep, just fill it up with the appropriate amount of stuffing. No need to attach it to the walls or anything. Just stuff it in there.
