I'm actually really happy with what I got, but I won't lie, the only reason I'm thinking about a bigger box with a higher tuning is for a higher score. Last time I metered I got a 136pointsomething, and I want to get the Mag to at least 140. Once I do that, I'll probably put the mag into the same box it's in now or build a sealed box and see how that sounds.
As far as building a box tuned lower, everyone seems to love a low tuned box, I want to see if I'm one of them.
I'm just want to try different enclosures to see what I like. I've had the same system for a while and I want to change things up a little without getting a brand new sub or amp. The Mag v3 and SAE 1000 are both discontinued items, but I will not get rid of them. They're mines forever.

If I remember correctly, old Mag v3 owners used to pair it with the Sundown SAZ1500, and they say the Mag took it like a champion. But since you build the sub, your opinion means more here. What kind of power would you say the Mag v3 can handle in a 2.5 ft^3 ported box?

I have a question for this quote too, I just can't word my thoughts. So never mind.
