I'll agree with Nick on this one.

Having a Mag definitely changes the way you listen to music. It takes a while to get used to not having the distortion.

While I am a big fan of the Mag's lack of distortion, there are times when I'm so used to hearing the distortion, that I miss it. So, it entirely depends on what kind of music you listen to, and what you want your subwoofer to do for you.

If you want your subwoofer to accurately and faithfully replay the music as it was recorded, by all means, go with the Mag v4.

If you want your subwoofer to go "boom" when the deep bass notes hit, the Mag is not the sub for you.
