Prior to receiving the speakers, my buddy and I started by prepping the door panels for the larger speakers:
Tweeters were covered by a mesh grill and due to space requirements we dremelled out an opening that was later enlarged once I recv'd the speakers:
At the same time, we took out the mesh covering the woofer location and cleaned up the opening to allow the woofers to fit (stock size is 6.75" with a 2.35" mounting depth, we needed 7" diameter and room for a 3/4" spacer):
