Also you are running a Pioneer unit so this is another possibility. It's possible you blew the pico fuse in the unit. (you can search (google) on pioneer and pico fuse problem).
Ground the rca's and that is one way to fix your problem without sending the headunit in for the fuse to be replaced.

hey man i just took my ground off of my extra battery and put it on my chassie and guess what!!! NO MORE NOISE!
my nnext question to you is why when my ground is on the second battery does it make alt whine? how can i fix it? also wil this create a problem for my next to amps (1000d sundown amps) or should i be fine?
