I heard a set in a kids car off about 120rms per side and was the best sounding set I have heard in sometime. I would check those out as they can be had around 220 or so, depending where you get them.
Would be the set I have gotten if I stayed in the game.

Same here. I have no personal experience with them but heard great things. I would have picked those up had I not gotten a good deal on the slightly used SR6500's.
Side not I got the SR6500's installed, and I use that loosely cause it is crappy at best lol. But they do sound amazing, I now actually understand what people mean when they talk about the height and width of their sound stage and center. Plus for being in an undeadened door the midbass is pretty sweet. Heck the drivers side tweeter is pretty much firing into my dash and it still sounds good lol. I am hoping it can only get better from here. I am finding myself spending more time just sitting in my truck listening than working on finishing up the install. Going to go active now since I ran into an issue with one of the crossovers not wanting to put out any tweeter frequencies.
