btw when the final mag come, how bout you go IB with a pair of mags and a sae1000
IB in what? It's a hatchback!

That, and we're talking a whopping 150 watts power handling IB. They're designed for sealed, so they don't do well with high power without a firm air spring behind them. I'm still doing 4 Mag's sealed when they come in. Oh, expect some TL numbers with 1 Mag in about 0.8 cubes with a 1000D this weekend. We're going to mess around with the TL and my Civic over at Sundown's shop this weekend.

I've been thinking about tearing the dash out and putting the tweets in the very front where the VIN plate is (it's actually the very front part of the dash, but it's not the dash - it's the part that is left behind after you pull the dash out). The a-pillars look too shallow to put the tweets in without fiberglass work.

I was going to put wave guides on the grilles in the door locations but I don't think that's going to raise the imaging as high as I would like. The tweets are just too far off axis down in the doors.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized that wave guides were only going to be a bandaid to the larger problem of raising the image.
