Just because I've got 3k watts doesn't mean I have to use it.
And I might use 4 SAZ-100.2's instead. I haven't really decided yet.
PS: You're absolutely right - 3k watts is NOT practical in any way, shape, or form. It's silly how everyone thinks they need 3k watts to do anything now-a-days.
...hrrmmm...I think I'll go another route than the 3000D now that I've talked it out. I don't want people thinking these are power hogs (even though it would still be less than 1000 watts / driver). It'll be cool to show off what they can do with 500 watts / driver.
